Job description

You will have an opportunity to work with the best‑in‑class engineering, digital innovation and design teams supporting you to shape product vision. As an Account Manager, you will play a vital role in driving the success of this account and have responsibilities covering commercial management, new business identification and delivery governance. As part of this role, you will be responsible for working with cross‑functional teams to consult, design and deliver digital innovation & transformation solutions to clients in the consumer and retail space. You will leverage industry expertise and experiences using technologies to transform organizations across a variety of focus areas. You will utilize your client management experience to develop relationships and identify opportunities for the wider practice.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted advisor with the CPGR space, providing clients with advice on the latest technology trends.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver technology‑focused transformation projects across a variety of areas.
  • With the support of our sales/pre‑sales teams, assess client opportunities, generate & respond to RFPs, create proposals and presentations, establish senior relationships with clients and prospective clients, and help to close/sign new deals.
  • Shape and scope consulting engagements, establish optimal operating models and project team organisation, and lead the transition from the sales process to the delivery phase.
  • Stay abreast of current and emerging trends, unique opportunities and challenges in the sectors, markets and geographies (focus on UK‑based clients) in which our clients operate; offer clarity on how these affect their businesses and initiatives.
  • Establish and cultivate strong relationships with clients at senior levels as well as external and internal partners to maximise growth of practice activities within our Retail and Consumer Products portfolios.
  • Align with Business Unit goals and objectives, support company financial goals including revenue and profit targets.
Qualifications
  • EPAM is looking for an experienced account management professional to manage client relationships with a prominent multi‑brand apparel client.
  • Demonstrable broad and deep expertise in Retail and Consumer products and clients in the UK.
  • Deep industry experience in trend‑setting, digital & innovative technology‑focused leadership positions, or equivalent from a recognised consultancy practice.
  • Strong problem‑solving and creative‑thinking skills.
  • Willingness to lead people and recruit your own team.
  • Ability to travel on an as‑needed basis.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Seasoned presentation skills.
  • Gravitas and personal credibility with senior executives.
  • Proven ability to manage client consulting engagements under high stress, or the management of digital innovation transformation programmes to completion.
  • Sound business acumen: commercial and strategic skills, numeric fluency, negotiation skills, advocate for diversity.
