Accommodation Support Officer
Make a meaningful impact every day. Are you passionate about supporting people from diverse backgrounds and able to show resilience and empathy? We’re looking for committed Accommodation Support Officers to join our team and assist participants with their housing needs.
In this role, you will manage a caseload of adult males either residing in custody or living in the community. Working in close partnership with probation practitioners, you will carry out initial assessments to understand each individual’s circumstances and develop tailored accommodation plans through a series of agreed interventions. You will help participants navigate housing challenges, keep them informed of decisions that affect them, and support their understanding of their rights throughout the process.
We welcome applicants from a variety of professional backgrounds, including social services, mental health, education, or those who have recently graduated and are seeking experience in the criminal justice sector. If you bring a person-focused approach and transferable skills, we’d love to hear from you. We understand that not everyone will tick every box, and that’s okay. If you’re engaging, adaptable and comfortable working with a diverse range of people, we’ll provide on-site training and ongoing support to help you grow in the role.

In return for your dedication, knowledge, and commitment, we’re offering a competitive salary starting from £25,877 - £29,000 per annum (dependent on experience) with these great benefits:
