Academy Health and Wellbeing Physiologist

Academy Health and Wellbeing Physiologist – Nuffield Health Ipswich Hospital. Physiology Department. Permanent contract. Full‑time. Salary £27,000. 40 hours per week.

Main duties of the job
  • Join our multidisciplinary team of doctors, physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Complete our in‑house three‑week training course.
  • Help promote health and fitness as part of our holistic, comprehensive health service.
  • Deliver health assessments that support health and wellbeing goals.
  • Support prevention as well as rehabilitation and recovery.
  • Be passionate and caring in the service you provide, putting client’s needs first.
  • Complete our award‑winning preceptorship programme during your first 12 months in the role.

As an Academy Physiologist, you will:

  • Bring a minimum 2:2 Sport and Exercise Science degree or equivalent.
  • Have studied human physiology, exercise, biochemistry, anatomy/biomechanics, psychology and nutrition, and be able to apply this in practice.
  • Travel within the region of your base site (roles are mobile).
