A reputable accounting firm in Yeovil seeks an AAT Part Qualified Accountant. You will support Senior Accountants in delivering accounting services, prepare accounts and tax returns, and contribute to client relationship building. We are currently seeking an AAT Part Qualified Accountant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to gain exposure to a variety of clients, with an ambition to continue studying and develop their career within Old Mill.
As an AAT Part Qualified Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Senior Accountants and Advisers in delivering exceptional accounting and advisory services to our clients. This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities; you will contribute to our commitment to build strong client relationships and deliver an outstanding client experience.

To be successful in this role you should have experience of working in a practice environment with experience in preparing accounts and tax returns for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. You should have a good understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as knowledge of relevant tax regulations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as you will be working with complex data using relevant software tools and systems. Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently is also important. Excellent communication skills are key, as you will be working closely with clients and colleagues. You should be a team player, able to collaborate effectively and contribute to the success of the team. As this role sits within our Rural team, it would be great if you had experience (or an interest in) agriculture.
