As a Senior Contract Support Officer (SCSO), you will use your expert financial knowledge and experience to support colleagues throughout Integrated Delivery Hubs across England, as they help create a better place through excellence in project and programme management. Specifically, you will support the Contract Support Officers in their daily work through training, coaching and issue resolution.
In this role you will use agreed tools and processes to undertake more complex and technical contract support activities, quality assurance tasks, and technical commercial portfolio work.
Your excellent communication skills will enable you to build strong relationships with our Internal Teams and Supply Partners as you focus on investigating issues and anomalies to a satisfactory conclusion. You will liaise with other Senior CSOs to share best practice, while making sure that process knowledge and consistency in ways of working is maintained/updated across the CSO Community.
The Senior Contract Support Officer will work closely with Managers, Commercial Service Managers and other stakeholders. An interest in developing greater contractual awareness is highly desirable.

We support and assure the commercial activities of teams, ensure contractors are paid the right amount at the right time and support other teams with a wide range of other commercial activities.
