The post holder will be responsible for covering an inpatient caseload providing a specialised dietetic service to Infectious Diseases inpatients, and an outpatient service to patients living with HIV.
The post holder will be expected to supervise and support other members of staff, participate in student training (B and C placements), and provide clinical support to colleagues at the Western General Hospital as part of the NHS Lothian Acute Dietetic Service.
We are strongly committed to training and support for CPD and clinical governance, with annual appraisals, peer support and training opportunities to further develop your specialist clinical skills.
As this post is part‑time, the salary will be pro‑rata.
This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
