This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/record. Responsibilities

The post-holder will be responsible for the clinical leadership and day to day management of the Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy Inreach team and be actively involved in Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy specific activities. This involves:

• Leading, managing and supporting a team of staff in this specialist area of Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy, ensuring consistent operational management of the Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy service.
• Ensuring the highest standard of service delivery to patients which is fair and equitable.
• Provision of expert advice and education to Physiotherapy staff and students through developing and maintaining links locally and nationally.
• Working in conjunction with the General Manager and Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Clinical Leads to deliver strategic and operational management of the Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy service.
• Manage own caseload of patients effectively and efficiently. To act independently to provide a comprehensive specialist service of assessment, diagnosis, treatment/appropriate management, onward referral and discharge to a range of patients referred to the service.
• Support staff with the management of complex cases needing a high degree of clinical expertise.
