A regional healthcare service in Edinburgh is seeking a part-time Stores & Procurement Officer to maintain safety in stores and support patient care objectives. The role involves collaboration with various teams and requires training in a stores or warehouse environment. Candidates should possess strong organizational and communication skills, with support available for disabled applicants.
An opportunity has arisen for a Stores & Procurement Officer within the Southeast Mobility and Rehabilitation Technology (SMART) Services. The services are based at the SMART Centre, Astley Ainslie Hospital, Edinburgh. The SMART Centre provides highly specialised clinical rehabilitation technology services across the southeast of Scotland. While the post is primarily based at the SMART Centre, the post holder will also be required to work at other NHS Lothian sites.
The post holder may be based within Orthotics or Assistive Technology stores teams but may also be required to assist in the Prosthetics Workshops. The role involves maintaining a safe working environment for all colleagues using the stores areas and supporting the achievement of targets and objectives to enhance the patient journey.
Please note: As this post is part-time, the salary will be pro-rata.
