The University of Edinburgh Business School seeks to appoint two Lecturers in Digital Innovation and Artificial Intelligence within its Entrepreneurship and Innovation Group. We are looking for high‑quality candidates for these appointments who will contribute to the Group’s research and teaching.
Specifically, we are looking for candidates with a strong research profile and the skills appropriate to conducting research and to designing and delivering courses in one or more of the following areas: artificial intelligence (AI) for business and organisation, digital/AI innovation and innovation management, and digital/AI business and transformation. We will candidates with specific expertise in the management of AI as a significant element of their scholarship. We welcome applications from those with a disciplinary background in innovation management, information systems, and computer science.
Regarding teaching, we are looking for candidates with skills appropriate for delivering courses across the undergraduate, masters and executive education levels, and both on‑campus and online. For instance, the successful candidates would be expected to contribute to or lead courses on our on‑campus new MSc Programme in Artificial Intelligence for Business, which starts in September 2026, and/or to our MSc Programme in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and to support the development of our portfolio of AI courses targeting executive education. More broadly, we expect these Lecturers to contribute, as required, to the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Group’s current portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate on‑campus and online courses.
