Qualifications

• Experience in alternative provision, special education, or home tuition is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons tailored to individual SEN needs.
• Build trusting, positive relationships with pupils, many of whom may have autism or ADHD.
• Implement consistent behaviour strategies rooted in empathy and restorative practice.

Skills

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant SEN tutoring experience

Experience working with children with SEN or SEMH needs

Strong behaviour management skills
