A dedicated educational support agency is seeking a patient and nurturing 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 4 pupil with additional needs in Birmingham. Are you a patient and nurturing Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with additional needs? We're looking for a dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child in Year 4 at a welcoming and inclusive primary school.
This is a long-term opportunity to make a real difference to a child's progress both academically and socially, working closely with the class teacher and SENCO.
Long-term, stable work with the potential for a permanent role. No day‑to‑day supply – full-time consistency in one school. A dedicated consultant to support you throughout your placement. Trial days instead of formal interviews to ensure the right fit. Access to free CPD training, including Understanding Autism, Behaviour Management, and further professional development/refreshers.
All applicants will need a valid DBS and two references to be considered for a trial day.
This role is easily commutable from: Handsworth, Winson Green, Ladywood, Lozells, Smethwick, Hockley, Jewellery Quarter, Edgbaston and Perry Barr.
