About the company

Our client is a reputable nursery in Liverpool (L4) providing high-quality care and education for young children. They are committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment for both children and staff.

Roles & Responsibilities

You will be providing individualised support to a child with additional needs in a nurturing two-year-old provision. You'll work closely with the child's key worker and other members of the team to develop and implement an engaging and stimulating learning program. This is a chance to make a significant impact on a young child's development and well-being in a friendly and supportive team environment.

Main tasks include
  • Developing and implementing individualised learning plans
  • Providing one-to-one support and guidance
  • Creating a positive and stimulating learning environment
  • Working collaboratively with the key worker and other members of the team
  • Monitoring and documenting the child's progress
  • Building strong relationships with the child and their family
Requirements
  • Hold a minimum of a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Experience working with children with additional needs
  • A passion for making a positive difference in young children's lives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service
  • Full right to work in the UK
  • A willingness to commit to a long-term, full-time position
  • Strong understanding of child development and learning principles
