The Laboratoire de Chimie Organique 2 (LCO2) is a leading research lab in Europe. The Laboratoire de Chimie Organique 2 is a team composed of three independently publishing research groups: "Methodology and Synthesis", "Systems Chemistry" and "Biological Membranes". The members of each research group collaborate in the team and complement each other's scientific work with know-how and instrumentation specific to each group.
The LCO2-SysChem research team focuses interests in Systems Chemistry, Synthetic Organic Chemistry, Peptides and Nucleic acid chemistry and uses, Phospholipids chemistry and uses, vaccines developments and Nanomedicine, Fluorophores preparation and cellular cartography.
The LCO2-SysChem at the Institut de Chimie et Biochimie Moléculaires et Supramoléculaires, ICBMS – UMR5246 offers to host a MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship candidate (typically a post-doc of less than 8 years research experience since PhD defence), submitting an application to the next MSCA-2026-PF call for proposals (deadline 09th of September 2026), interested to work on the following research topic:
The fellowship could last for 12 to 36 months, depending on the type of Postdoctoral Fellowship.
The successful Marie-Curie Post-doctoral fellow will be supervised by Michele Fiore, HDR, Associate Professor at the Institut de Chimie et Biochimie Moléculaires et Supramoléculaires, ICBMS – UMR5246. His research interests include Systems Chemistry, Prebiotic Systems Chemistry, Origin Of Life (OOL), Lipid and membranogenic compounds and protocells formation, autocatalysis, self-evolvable systems, peptide chemistry and nucleic acid chemistry.
