The Technician analyzes vehicle failures under warranty. They must demonstrate the sequence of the fault, from its origin to its consequences, and respond to coverage requests based on warranty conditions. Their analysis is supported by:

  • Management tools
  • Handling procedures for claims
  • Technical knowledge base

It is important that cases are documented precisely in the management tool to ensure understanding by all and facilitate shared actions for progress.

Tasks:
  1. Receive warranty claims and analyze cases.
  2. Manage ongoing cases to ensure the shortest possible processing time.
  3. Ensure beneficiaries have continuous access to all services when applicable.
  4. Assign field experts if necessary (less than 3% of cases) and qualify the expertise firm.
  5. Leverage non-standard cases to enrich the knowledge base.
  6. Identify and relay cases suitable for automation.
  7. Draft explanatory response letters post-expertise.
  8. Assist Warranty Managers with questions regarding inspections and normal wear of parts.
  9. Propose process improvements.
  10. Handle calls as per organizational setup.
  11. Guarantee partner satisfaction through proper case handling.
Qualifications:

Diploma in automotive or heavy vehicle technical field (Bac Pro or BTS MAVA/MVA preferred).

  • Experience in auto or heavy vehicle repair workshop or reception.
