Technical Presales Engineer

Location: Paris (hybrid) or Remote (France)

Help organizations solve real business problems through data-driven insights.

Minitab is looking for a Technical Presales Engineer to join our dynamic, customer-facing team. In this role, you\'ll act as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers and prospects, demonstrating how Minitab’s powerful cloud-based analytics and data integration solutions can drive business transformation.

You\'ll work alongside our regional sales teams, guiding technical discovery, delivering impactful product demonstrations, and driving adoption of Minitab’s cloud platforms — including Minitab Statistical Software, Minitab Connect, and other integrated tools.

What You’ll Do
  • Collaborate with sales to uncover business needs and craft tailored solution strategies

  • Deliver engaging, technically accurate demos and presentations to C-level, business, and IT audiences

  • Lead the technical components of the sales process, from discovery through proof-of-concept to post-sale transition

  • Contribute to account planning and growth strategies, helping to expand Minitab’s footprint across global enterprise accounts

  • Articulate the value of Minitab’s cloud architecture, including integration capabilities via Minitab Connect

  • Stay current on market trends, competitors, and emerging customer needs to better position Minitab’s offerings

  • Mentor and collaborate with internal teams, contributing to continuous improvement of our go-to-market strategy

What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Experience in pre-sales engineering, solution consulting, or enterprise software sales support

  • Strong understanding of cloud architectures, data integration, and analytics platforms

  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Experience working with large enterprise accounts (Fortune 5000 preferred)

  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively (50–75%)
