Job summary

Doctolib is seeking a Staff Site Reliability Engineer to join our SRE team focused on platform reliability across Europe. You will lead reliability initiatives, influence architecture, mentor engineers, and partner with product teams to embed best practices.

The role sits in Paris with a hybrid setup (up to 2 remote days per week) and a strong emphasis on observability and reliability engineering. The role requires 8+ years in SRE or platform engineering, deep Kubernetes experience, and

Qualifications

• 8+ years in SRE, platform engineering, or infrastructure in large-scale production.
• Strong experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Proficient in Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Implemented SLOs, error budgets, and observability metrics.
• Experience leading on-call rotations and incident response.
• Systems engineering background with Go, Python, or Ruby.
• Able to lead through influence and mentor engineers.
• Strong written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-cutting reliability initiatives across the platform.
• Identify and drive improvements to incident detection, response, and postmortem analysis capabilities.
• Define and evolve SLOs, error budgets, and alerting standards across multiple product teams.
• Take part in the on-call rotation, and actively contribute to improving our on-call experience by refining alerting and telemetry.
• Serve as a mentor and technical coach to senior engineers, helping elevate reliability engineering across the company.
• Influence strategic decisions by providing technical guidance to leadership and architectural reviews.
• Partner with software engineering teams to embed reliability practices early in the development lifecycle.
