Job summary

Doctolib is seeking a Staff Site Reliability Engineer to drive platform reliability across Europe. You will lead cross-functional reliability initiatives, set SLOs, and mentor engineers while collaborating with product teams to ensure scalable, observable systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of SRE/platform engineering experience in large-scale environments.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong containerization/orchestration expertise with Kubernetes.
• Experience implementing SLIs, SLOs and error budgets in production.
• Experience managing on-call rotations and incident response.
• Backend proficiency in Go, Python, or Ruby.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; mentoring abilities.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale reliability initiatives across the platform, including infrastructure automation and incident management.
• Improve incident detection, response, postmortems, and telemetry.
• Define and evolve SLOs, error budgets, and alerting standards across product teams.
• Participate in on-call rotations and improve on-call experiences.
• Mentor senior engineers and drive reliability engineering maturity.
• Provide technical guidance to leadership and participate in architectural reviews.
• Collaborate with software teams to embed reliability early in development.
