Job summary

Doctolib is seeking a senior reliability engineer to drive the platform's reliability and scalability across Europe. You will mentor engineers, shape SRE practices, define SLOs, and lead cross-cutting initiatives spanning infrastructure, observability, and incident response.

You bring 8+ years in SRE or platform engineering, strong Kubernetes and cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure), and fluency in Go, Python or Ruby. English required. Hybrid Berlin-based role with meaningful impact.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in SRE, platform engineering or infra roles in large multi-team production environments.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Strong experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Experience implementing SLIs, SLOs and error budgets in production.
• Experience managing on-call rotations and incident response.
• Backend proficiency in Go, Python or Ruby.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities; ability to influence across teams.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale cross-cutting reliability initiatives across the platform, including infra automation and incident management.
• Improve incident detection, response, and postmortem capabilities.
• Define and evolve SLOs, error budgets, and alerting standards.
• Participate in on-call rotations and improve on-call experience with actionable telemetry.
• Mentor senior engineers and raise reliability engineering standards.
• Provide technical guidance to leadership and participate in architectural reviews.
• Embed reliability practices early with software engineering teams.
