Job summary

Doctolib is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer in Nantes to join our Database Optimization team. You will design, build and maintain core infrastructure databases that support hundreds of thousands of concurrent users, and automate deployment, scaling, and maintenance to improve reliability and performance.

You will collaborate with DB Architects, Principal Engineers and SREs, and you will help grow our monitoring, incident response, and tooling while enabling product teams to use

Qualifications

• 6+ years hands-on production platform experience.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of datastores such as PostgreSQL, Kafka, or Couchbase.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker & Kubernetes); IaC principles.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain core infrastructure databases to support Doctolib scale.
• Automate deployment, scaling and maintenance of databases for reliability.
• Improve monitoring, alerting and incident response to pre-empt issues.
• Provide tooling and docs to empower feature teams in using databases reliably.
