Doctolib is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join the Database Optimization team in Nantes. You will ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of Doctolib’s databases by designing core infrastructure, automating deployment, and improving monitoring and incident response.

The role requires 6+ years of production experience, strong cloud and database tech skills ( PostgreSQL, Kafka, Couchbase ), and fluent English.

Qualifications

• 6+ years hands-on production platform experience.
• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Kafka, or Couchbase.
• Strong containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Ruby, Python, Go or Java.
• Fluent in English.

Responsabilités

• Design, build and maintain core infrastructure databases to support large-scale usage.
• Automate deployment, scaling and maintenance of databases for reliability.
• Implement and improve monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes.
• Provide documentation and tooling to empower feature teams in using databases.
• Mitigate production database issues during working hours when needed.
• Research and evaluate new technologies to improve reliability and availability.
