Job summary

Cross Border Talents is offering a remote position from Portugal with an on-site day per quarter in Porto/Vila Nova de Gaia. The role focuses on resolving escalated issues, reproducing and diagnosing errors, and querying MySQL data to fix problems at the source.

You’ll use Postman, Slack and collaborate with the support team, while contributing improvements to prevent incidents. The program includes paid English-language training and a clear path to ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Fluent French is essential.
• English level B2; training will be in English.
• Working knowledge of MySQL/SQL, Postman, Slack and MS Office.
• Strong troubleshooting and ticket-handling skills.
• Clear written and spoken communication with a customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Take over escalated tickets, chats and video calls that L2 couldn't close.
• Reproduce, analyze and diagnose application errors.
• Check customer data directly in the database (MySQL) to catch errors at source.
• Work with Postman, Slack and the support team to identify root causes.
• Propose improvements to management based on incidents.
• Join ongoing training and development programmes.
