Job summary

Cross Border Talents is seeking a skilled customer support engineer to handle escalated tickets, diagnose application issues, and query databases. You will use MySQL/SQL, Postman, and Slack to pinpoint root causes and collaborate with the team to implement fixes.

The role offers remote work from Portugal with an on-site day each quarter, plus paid English training, health insurance from day one, and a fixed-term contract with opportunities for extension.

Qualifications

Fluent French required; English knowledge helpful for training.
Strong troubleshooting and ticket-handling skills are essential.
Good written and spoken communication with a customer focus.

Responsibilities

Take over escalated tickets, chats and video calls that L2 couldn't close.
Diagnose application errors by reproducing and analyzing issues.
Query MySQL databases to identify root causes.
Collaborate with the support team using Postman and Slack to resolve incidents.
Suggest improvements to management based on observed incidents.
Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
