A leading game development studio in Annecy seeks a Houdini Technical Artist to create and maintain tools for procedural content generation. The role involves working closely with level designers and artists and requires well-advanced knowledge of Houdini and familiarity with programming. Successful candidates will have a strong understanding of game development processes and techniques, as well as experience collaborating on graphic programming. This position supports a hybrid work model, emphasizing inclusivity and diversity within the workplace.
Under the responsibility of the Technical Director, the Houdini Technical Artist helps define and create, support and maintain the procedural content generation pipeline and tools. A key aspect of this role is not only to understand and optimize existing processes but also to understand level designers and level artists’ needs in order to provide custom‑tailored tools.
