Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Head of Product Development Power Stacks to join the Global R&D team in Semikron-Danfoss at our location in Sartrouville, near Paris. In this role, you will be responsible for the global Research & Development of power electronics stacks within the Division Solutions, reporting to the Head of Product Development Solutions.

Job Responsibilities
In Your Role, You Will
  • Lead and manage the global Stacks Development department, coordinating engineering teams in France, Germany, and India, to ensure efficient product development from project acquisition to serial production, including support and maintenance.
  • Oversee the development, testing, and qualification of power electronics stacks, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations (especially UL norms).
  • Drive continuous improvement through R&D, develop technology roadmaps, and generate intellectual property to create competitive advantages.
  • Implement cost reduction measures from design to production in collaboration with production teams.
  • Manage resources effectively, facilitate knowledge transfer, and provide second-level field application support for stacks in a multi-project global environment.
Background & Skills
  • Master’s degree in engineering with a focus on power electronics or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a leading global role in power electronics development for industrial applications.
  • Relevant industry experience in wind power, solar, battery storage, or related fields is preferred.
  • Global mindset with experience working within matrix organizations.
  • Business-fluent in English; proficiency in French is a plus.
  • Travel up to 25-30% of the time is expected.
