We are hiring a Global Sourcing Category Buyer, responsible for a direct spend of > €100 million of finished products.

As a part of the Global Co-Manufacturing Procurement team, you will work across Lactalis's different business divisions. This is a challenging, highly dynamic and visible role that will see you leading key strategic projects to optimize the quality, service, costs, innovation and cash performance of your categories.

Yours missions and challenges :

As a Global Sourcing Category Buyer, you will:

• Define with all relevant Stakeholders (R&D, Industrial, Quality, Marketing...) the strategies of the categories you have in charge, taking into consideration the internal and external partners (Lactalis countries, Market environment, Suppliers...)
• Design the roadmaps for execution
• Drive the strategies with your local counterparts and monitor its progress
• Lead a functional network of 15+ regional/local buyers
• Define, drive and optimize our global supplier’s portfolio as well as monitoring their performance
• Participate actively in the budget (assumptions and saving plans)
• Maintain an active innovation watch
• Develop Market knowledge and Expertise, Deploy best practices within the group by active benchmark

This position requires travels (10 to 30% of the time).

Your profil :

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in procurement - previous experience with Contract Manufacturing is a plus.
• Excellent communicator with leadership potential - Strategic vision.
• Natural connector - able to build a network to support business goals
• Able to set priorities, to take some distance, and be pragmatic
• Tenacity, with strong adaptation and relationship capabilities to gain credibility and create an efficient network within CBUs and suppliers
• Professional sourcing experience or / and education background that provides relevant knowledge within purchasing area
• Someone who is oriented to deliver value in these categories, with a strong understanding of the FMCG market across the different cultures
• Languages: Fluent in English. French would be a plus.
