A leading global pet health company is seeking a Global Portfolio & Content Compliance Manager in Aimargues. This role involves ensuring compliance of products with evolving regulations and facilitating various compliance processes. The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of experience, with at least 2 years in Regulatory Affairs, and must be fluent in English. You will work in a vibrant campus where pets are welcomed, contributing to a mission of health through nutrition for pets.

One of the key deliverables of the Regulatory Function is to ensure that Royal Canin can maintain the compliance of its products with all applicable and evolving technical regulations and standards.

The Global Portfolio & Content Compliance Manager guarantees the effective operation of all compliance processes, enabling the continuous supply of Royal Canin products and the release of external communications. He or she acts as a facilitator in executing these processes and contributes to their excellence by monitoring performance and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

What are we looking for?
  • Facilitate the execution of compliance processes that ensure market access continuity for Royal Canin’s existing portfolio (e.g., Regulatory Change Management Process, Challenge Process) and safeguard our ability to maintain compliance of both on-pack and off-pack product-related information.

  • Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for guiding users and removing roadblocks within these compliance processes.

  • Monitor the performance of compliance processes and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Own selected regulatory compliance product data used within these processes.

  • Act as Senior User and Ambassador of the Regulatory Risk Management Program (RRMP), ensuring its effective leverage in compliance activities.

  • Facilitate selected cross-functional global forums (e.g., Labelling Council) associated with compliance processes.

  • Own guidance documents that provide clarity to Regulatory Associates and partners in other functions regarding requirements to ensure market access for Royal Canin products.

  • Serve as Senior User of training materials that equip associates with the necessary knowledge and skills to operate within product-related compliance processes.

  • Act as Senior User and functional expert of systems digitizing the execution of compliance processes.

  • Lead activities and projects that ensure continuous compliance of the existing portfolio (e.g., MUST DO Regulatory Driven QUEST projects).

  • Track and report progress on agreed actions (Risk Mitigations and CAPAs) to maintain portfolio compliance with evolving regulations.

  • Track and report progress on action plans aimed at unlocking geographic expansion of the existing portfolio.

  • Serve as Senior User of the Regulatory Horizon Scanning Process and ensure that insights translate into foresight, triggering management decisions and action logs to protect the business.

What would be your key responsibilities?
  • M.S. or equivalent in life-sciences with an appetite for and hands on professional experience in product law

  • Alternatively, a master’s in law with an appetite and hands-on professional experience in life sciences

  • 6+ years of professional experience with a minimum of 2 years in Regulatory Affairs (or close collaboration with this function)

  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English is mandatory
