Job Description

AbbVie is seeking dynamic and motivated graduates or soon-to-be graduates to join our team as of May 2026. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to AbbVie's mission of transforming lives through innovative therapies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate key capabilities essential to driving the business and your career forward.

Hybrid Work Model: Employees must be in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. There will be flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.

Position Overview

Join a dynamic and collaborative FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) team responsible for providing insightful financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to support strategic decision-making. You will work closely with various departments to analyze financial results, drive business performance, and contribute to impactful projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your understanding of financial processes and gain valuable experience in supporting business strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer and Patient Focus: Participate in projects that prioritize the needs and well-being of patients and healthcare providers, ensuring a patient-centric approach.
  • Data Analysis and Strategic Decision Making: Assist in the collection and analysis of data to inform decision-making processes and contribute to strategic initiatives.
  • Adapt and Innovate: Support various departments by adapting quickly to new projects and technologies and propose creative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Teamwork and Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Engage in tasks that challenge your ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions to real-world problems.
Qualifications
  • Bilingual (English and French)
  • Recently completed a graduate or undergraduate university program, or be expected to graduate in 2026.
  • Strong educational background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field with demonstrated interest in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, or strategic business support is considered a strong asset.
  • The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong interest in customer and patient needs, has effective analytical and problem-solving skills, is adaptable and innovative, and excels in a team centric environment.
