Overview

Field Services Technician – Westinghouse Electric Company, Orsay, France.

This role focuses on delivering Operations safely and with flawless execution for Steam Generator sludge lancing and FOSAR inspection and maintenance services to operational nuclear power plants in France. The position provides opportunities to build strong technical and site experience and may support career development in other areas (e.g., shift lead, site lead).

This role is based in France, with the majority of time at the French nuclear power plant site and some support for other SGS activities. It reports to an Operations Manager in France and is matrixed to a Project Manager in France. The successful candidate will be located in Orsay and report to the Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

• Participate in preparation activities for outages (equipment maintenance and preparation, training, etc.).
• Lead and execute operation activities during outages.
• Support the closing and plant start-up activities.
• Maintain and manage equipment locally and ensure proper handling and storage.

Qualifications

• Advanced Technician Certificate in robotics/electronics/mechanical engineering.
• Maintenance experience on robotics, mechanical, or electrical systems.
• French language fluency (written and spoken).
• Knowledge and/or experience in the nuclear landscape preferable.
