Qualifications

Job Description:

Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Foreign Export Control Regulations Manager (*f/m*) to join its Export Control Department, based in Marignane, France. You will be part of a team of five employees who ensure compliance with foreign export control regulations and support international programs, supplier engagements, and customer deliveries. This role provides ongoing support and ensures compliance with legal obligations.

Your challenges:
  • Management of end‑user statement lifecycle activities (preparation, validation, tracking, renewal, archival) to ensure consistency and completeness.
  • Support preparation and coordination of foreign export licence applications and authorisations, ensuring collection, renewal and archival.
  • Provide regulatory guidance, training and advisory on foreign export control regulations for engineering, supply chain, procurement and programme teams.
  • Act as primary point of contact for export‑control discussions with foreign suppliers, partners and subcontractors.
  • Support classification activities (where applicable) for hardware, software and technical data under relevant foreign regimes.
Your profile:
  • 3‑5 years experience advising on international trade and export control in a multinational environment.
  • Business acumen and ethical behaviour in a heavily regulated business environment.
  • Knowledge of foreign export control regulations, especially US (ITAR, EAR) and UK.
  • University education.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills; sound business judgement; ability to involve others in consultations and decisions.
  • Excellent writing skills for policies, procedures, reports and memorandums.
  • Relationship building, networking, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High initiative, credibility, independence, integrity, confidentiality and trust.
  • Ability to earn respect of senior management quickly in a complex and evolving environment.
  • Fluency in English and French; German a plus.
