Overview

Join Egis and contribute to the performance of an international network of 30 highway companies. Egis Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Road aims to double its size within 4 years. We operate on highways in numerous countries (Kazakhstan, Greece, Mexico, Portugal, Congo, etc.) and support our subsidiaries on all technical and strategic levers of operation and maintenance. To strengthen our headquarters team, we are looking for an Expert in Traffic Management and Road Safety. You will contribute to identifying, promoting, and implementing best practices in traffic management and road safety (traffic control room management, patrols, crisis management, etc.) within Egis\'s road operating companies, bringing both strategic, technical, and operational insights.

Responsibilities
  • Lead Traffic Management Innovation
    • Be the reference for best practices in operations
    • Organization of Control Centers (PC)
    • Event management (accidents, fires, emergency interventions)
    • Integration of data from sensors, cameras, weather stations, etc.
    • Support subsidiaries in centralizing their PCs
    • Propose solutions to improve flow, reduce incidents, and optimize response times
  • Expand Internationally
    • Write white papers, articles, and participate in conferences to showcase Egis expertise
    • Promote the Business Line to funders and partners
  • Support in Bids
    • Contribute to technical strategy in bids: dimension PCs, define human / technical resources, optimize costs
    • Challenge existing practices and integrate innovations
  • Launch and Structure New Companies
    • Define operation strategies, recruit teams, formalize procedures
    • Support companies in skill development and industrialization
  • Animate the Global Network
    • Audit traffic management practices in the 30 companies
    • Propose and follow continuous improvement plans
    • Capitalize via the Data Cockpit tool and monthly working groups (professional community)
  • Regular travel in France and abroad is expected
Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Engineering degree appreciated. Open to profiles from the rail sector wishing to switch to road.
  • Minimum 10 years in operational traffic management (road or rail).

Skills and Experience

  • Solid experience in organizing Control Centers, crisis management, operational coordination.
  • Strong interest in project management in a multicultural environment.
  • Entrepreneurial, structured, results-oriented temperament.
  • Ability to communicate with technical teams, understand data, and drive improvement.

  • Excellent team spirit and ease in intercultural environments.
  • Autonomy, agility, ability to advance topics with leadership without hierarchical links.

Languages

  • Fluent English mandatory (oral and written – conferences, writing, network facilitation).
  • French is an asset, not mandatory.
