2. Description of the department

AXA IM Prime is the private assets one‑stop platform of AXA IM, offering investments across private equity, infrastructure equity, private debt and hedge funds.

We offer diversified sources of private market returns through primaries, secondaries, co‑investments, as well as NAV financing and GP minority stakes solutions.

Through partnerships with best‑in‑class fund managers, we tailor investment solutions for institutional investors and wealth managers that support long‑term sustainable growth.

AXA IM Prime’s team of seasoned investment professionals has a long history of meeting AXA group’s ambitious investment targets whilst incorporating proactive ESG commitments and strict risk management criteria. AXA IM Prime oversees EUR30 bn of alternative assets, with EUR5 bn of commitments to further be deployed over the next 3 years.

3. The main responsibilities of the role

• Support the data team in analyzing and leveraging financial and operational data.
• Design and implement an automated reporting framework (Streamlit applications, automated report generation).
• Automate the collection and processing of unstructured documents (OCR on PDFs, LLM‑based classification).
• Develop and optimise data pipelines (ETL) using Python and SQL.
• Enhance data analysis and visualisation tools.
• Contribute to the exploration and implementation of Machine Learning and LLM models applied to business challenges.
• Ensure data quality, reliability and structuring for efficient use.

4. Profile

Education / Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree at a leading Engineering School or University, specialising in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence or Computer Science applied to Finance.
• Previous experience in Data Science, Data Analysis or Automation is a plus.

Technical skills

• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with data science libraries and frameworks (Pandas, NumPy is a plus).
• Ability to develop reporting applications with Streamlit or similar tools.
• Experience with unstructured data processing (OCR, NLP, document classification) is a plus.
• Strong skills in Excel and data visualisation tools.
