Qualifications

We are looking for a proactive and curious Commercial Marketing Manager focused on the France and Belux Area.

In this position, the person is responsible for developing and executing marketing and trade marketing activities with key retailers and direct operated stores in France and BeLux. This position reports directly to the Country Manager of France and Belux with a dotted line to the Brand & Communication Creative Officer in Milan.

Main Responsibilities
  • Business development through the study and the implementation of marketing projects focused to boost sell out with Key Retailers in collaboration with Sales, key retailers and Local Distributors;
  • Data analysis, product positioning and assortment, based on sell-in / sell-out and other key indicators, Create KPIs and set up regular reporting to ensure RoI;
  • Development of commercial plans to support existing and new product offer (includes but no limited to dedicated areas, execution of assortment proposal and merchandising guidelines in order to increase sales performance on assigned doors / retailers) and marketing activities (merchandising, product demos, online presence, retailer activities and events);
  • Develop and maintain a network with artists and illustrators to animate workshops and ateliers in the mono brand stores (Paris and Lyon), department stores and key retailers
  • Define a visibility plan for each project where applicable (in-store communication, merchandising, promotional activity, events);
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, visual internally. Build relationship, attend and prepare meetings and presentations with distributors, retailer’s buying and marketing department in order to strengthen brand presence and build successful presentations and activities in-store and/or online;
  • In collaboration with HQ coordinate and forecast marketing materials that are relevant and needed in the market (catalogues, flyers, POS materials, window deco etc)
  • Manage agencies (PR, production agencies, promoters/staffing agencies, …) and external service providers by creating briefs, KPIs and day to day business;
  • Manage, create and support trade events as well as trade shows;
  • Management and control of Marketing Budget, to ensure on time and on quality projects/activities execution
Skill Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in the role, preferably in FMCG or premium brand segment
  • experience in trade marketing and analysis
  • Highly analytical approach: emphasis on numerical analysis (+ usage of database GFK)
  • French mother tongue, Fluent in English, Italian a bonus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a focus on PowerPoint and Excel (and use of Pivot tables)
  • Interest and/or background in cultural and creative institutions represent a bonus
  • Travel to meet retailers, customers and attend HQ meetings in Milan
