About the Role
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets for Thomson Reuter's tax and trade solutions within the French market.
  • Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities through comprehensive market research, networking, and lead generation activities.
  • Conduct thorough customer needs assessments to understand client challenges and pain points related to tax and trade compliance.
  • Develop and deliver compelling product propositions and professional presentations that clearly articulate the value and benefits of Thomson Reuter's solutions.
  • Manage the entire sales process from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing, ensuring a smooth and efficient customer journey.
  • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within client organizations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to enhance product offerings and market positioning.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and solutions to complex tax and trade challenges.
  • Continuously stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes in the tax and trade sector.
  • Contribute to partnership development initiatives to expand Thomson Reuter's market reach and ecosystem.
  • Utilize sales technology and CRM systems effectively to manage sales activities, forecast revenue, and report on performance.
About You
  • Proven experience in a commercial or account management role, ideally within the tax, trade, compliance, or B2B software industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in consultative selling and delivering value to clients.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to identify opportunities for efficiency and improvement.
  • Excellent relationship-building and influence skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in opportunity creation and developing new business within a competitive market.
  • Proficient in developing and delivering professional presentations.
  • Familiarity with sales process methodologies and sales technology.
  • Knowledge of marketing principles and their application in a B2B sales environment.
  • Comfortable embracing new challenges and adapting to a dynamic market.
  • Strong understanding of web-based technology and SaaS solutions.
  • Fluency in French and English (written and spoken) is essential.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
