Qualifications

[Job Description]

As Chief Financial Officer, you will join the Finance team and report directly to Geoffroy Damnon, General Secretary. You will have the opportunity to define and oversee the company’s administrative management (procedures, operations, legal aspects, etc.) and financial management (accounting, management control, etc.), in line with the strategic decisions adopted by the executive bodies and in compliance with financial, tax, and commercial regulations.

  • Apply administrative and financial management procedures, along with the indicators necessary for activity monitoring and reporting to the Executive Management and the Board of Directors.
  • Select and implement modern management and administration tools.
  • Prepare the company’s forecast budget, present it to the executive bodies, analyze variances, and recommend adjustments.
  • Supervise and coordinate management control activities, ensuring alignment with the Management’s strategic decisions.
  • Oversee and coordinate the work of internal departments, legal advisors in matters of litigation, and all types of external advisors and partners, in liaison with our lawyers and legal counsel.
  • Supervise monthly closing activities (analytical review of accounts) and annual closing (preparation of the tax package, management report, annexes, and documents for the prevention of business difficulties), and determine taxable income.
  • Define year-end closing options.
  • Manage operational cash flow monitoring with various banking institutions.
  • Supervise invoicing and customer collections.
  • Control and validate payments.
  • Oversee the work of the Accounting Department.
  • Report regularly to Executive Management.


[Desired Profile]

  • Education: Master’s degree from a top-tier business or engineering school with a finance specialization.
  • Experience: You have at least three years of successful experience in a similar position / in management and accounting roles.
  • A solid understanding of the banking sector and B2B SaaS service sales would be a plus.
  • Languages: Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to collaborate with diverse teams, an excellent team player.
  • You thrive on challenges, have an entrepreneurial mindset, and enjoy the energy of scale-ups.

Geoffroy Damnon, General Secretary

Geoffroy has progressed at Skaleet since 2021, holding successive positions as Product Marketing & Presales Manager, Chief Strategy Officer, and then General Secretary overseeing strategic and support functions. Previously, he spent nearly six years at Société Générale, primarily in internal audit and capital markets project management, after earning an engineering degree from Télécom SudParis and an MBA from ESCP Business School.
