A global pharmaceutical firm is seeking a Black Utilities Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a 12-month contract in Northern France. The successful candidate will verify and approve design specifications, oversee commissioning of HVAC and cooling systems, and ensure compliance with GMP standards. A minimum of ten years in the industry and fluency in French are essential. This role involves on-site presence for at least four days a week and offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to significant capital projects.

Black Utilities SME - Pharmaceuticals - Northern France - 12-Month Contract

Our client with manufacturing facilities in Northern Europe, is currently investing significantly in their manufacturing programme. This state-of-the‑art facility houses high‑technology and next‑gen processes to produce drugs that are distributed throughout the Globe. The site is easily reachable by Road, Rail and Air and has excellent transport links throughout.

The client is currently seeking the expertise of a Black Utilities SME. Responsibilities :

• Verify and approve the design specification and documentation provided by the suppliers.
• Collect and review all the clients comments relevant to his discipline.
• Lead the review meeting with the appointed third parties.
• Send the documentation commented to the relevant counterparts.
• Design, commissioning, and qualification of Black Utilities, such as HVAC and cooling systems.
• Co-responsible for ensuring that design documents, instructions and procedures are up to date and ready to meet requirements.

Requirements :

• Our Client is actively seeking a qualified Black Utilities Subject Matter Expert (SME) to enhance its team.
• The ideal candidate for this position will bring extensive expertise in successfully executing large‑scale capital projects within the pharmaceutical sector.
• Fluency in French is essential, and the candidate should have a proven track record in Pharmaceutical projects, particularly in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) areas.
• With a commitment to the role, the candidate is expected to be present the site for a minimum of four days per week.
• The desired candidate should boast a minimum of 10 years of experience in the field, showcasing a proactive and problem‑solving attitude.
