Airbus is looking for an IFRS accountant specialist (f/m) to join our Accounting department based in Toulouse, France.

Job Description

This role is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in consolidated financial statements with a strong focus on quality and adherence to deadlinesခံ You will have a leading role ensuring that the related accounting and disclosures are made in full compliance with Airbus accounting rules and IFRS standards.

Your challenges

• Filling a role of specialist for international accounting issues ensuring Airbus IFRS compliance and auditors on‑boarding to Airbus practices.
• Follow‑up of and pro‑active involvement in the development of IFRS with regular exchanges with peers and auditors.
• Defining and rolling‑out new accounting policies throughout Airbus in close co‑operation with responsible counterparts in the organisation.
• Driving consistency and harmonisation in accounting policy implementation, through regular review and update of the group accounting manual supplemented with guidance notes.
• Disseminating information around key developments/expected changes to the wider finance community and key stakeholders.
• Liaising with Airbus external Financial Reporting to ensure a high quality implementation of the disclosure requirements and ensure market regulators recommendations are properly reflected in the Airbus consolidated Financial Statements and financial communication.
• Working with the business on a global basis across the various divisions to provide IFRS accounting advice to optimise the structure of the transactions.
• Ensuring comprehensive skill development of Airbus Finance community in IFRS.

Your boarding pass

• prodAt least 8 years experience in Technical accounting.
• An extensive understanding of IFRS and a strong appetite for technical topics and transversal challenges.
• Experience in coordinating cross‑functional stakeholders and managing deliverables under tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to challenge assumptions construct Ciencias.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with senior stakeholders and external auditors.
• Proactive, agile and energetic, with the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written); French and/or German are a plus.
