The Role

As a Technical Account Manager (TAM) at Simply.TV, you’ll serve as a trusted technical advisor and strategic partner for our key clients. Your mission is to ensure customers gain maximum value from our data and technology solutions — helping them integrate, optimize, and grow with Simply.TV. This role combines technical expertise, problem-solving, and customer empathy. You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, and Sales teams to ensure our clients’ success — from onboarding and implementation to proactive support and long-term relationship management.

Responsibilities

You are successful when:

  • You build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with key clients, deeply understanding their technical environment and business goals.
  • You provide proactive guidance, roadmaps, and best practices to help customers optimize their use of Simply.TV’s metadata solutions.
  • You collaborate cross‑functionally with Product, Engineering, and Sales to resolve complex technical issues and deliver impactful solutions.
  • You monitor account health, identify potential risks, and act as the customer advocate during escalations.
  • You lead technical reviews, onboard new customers, and identify upsell or cross‑sell opportunities to drive mutual growth.
  • You document technical activities, track open items, and maintain clear and actionable account plans.
  • You stay current on product updates, new features, and industry trends to anticipate and address client needs.
Qualifications

You'll thrive in this role if you:

  • Have university degree in a relevant area, e.g. Business or Data
  • Have 0-3 years experience as a Technical Account Manager in B2B tech or metadata
  • Have exceptional written & spoken English skills (additional European languages are a plus)
  • Have a passion for technology, innovation, and customer success.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a proactive, hands‑on mindset.
  • Are an excellent communicator who can translate complex technical concepts into clear and simple language.

Collaboration based on a freelancer set‑up is up to 4,000 EUR per month on a full‑time allocation basis (40 hours per week).
