You’re passioned in OpenSource technologies, ideally in PostgreSQL database? Coding in Python and Ansible is something which you’re burning for? Then we’re looking for you! Our international team is responsible for the engineering and operations of database technologies like Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, IBM DB2, Sybase and MS SQL Server. As DevOps/EngOps engineer we’re taking the end-to-end ownership for our services. From engineering through automation and operations, all the way to third-level support. You will have the opportunity to automate and improve operational tasks, like provisioning of databases, patching and programming self-service capabilities to enhance our user experience. You’ll join a highly motivated team working in a sophisticated environment where your voice truly matters, giving you real ownership, influence over decisions, and the chance to see your ideas make a meaningful impact.

What You Will Do

• Develop, maintain, and execute Ansible playbooks to automate tasks related to database administration
• Programming and automation of maintenance jobs and self-service capabilities
• Improve service quality and time-to-market by taking end-to-end responsibility for your code and automation APIs
• Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to enhance the role and capabilities of automation, utilizing standardized techniques
• You will work in a daily cycle to gain knowledge of PostgreSQL and MySQL
• On call duty possible in the future

What You Bring

• Automation: Scripting or programming experience in Ansible, Bash and Python
• REST API knowledge – Developing in Python or Go
• Knowledge in Cloud Native technologies such as Docker, Openshift, Azure Container Apps will be highly valued
• Experience in PostgreSQL and MySQL is an advantage
• A collaborative, proactive attitude with result driven thinking
• Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written)
