About You and this Role

As a Staff Software Engineer, you will be at the forefront of designing, building, and maintaining our cloud-native solution. You will leverage your deep expertise in Kubernetes development and architecture to make key architectural decisions, and push the team in delivering scalable, resilient, and high-performance systems. This role offers the opportunity to have a transformative impact by addressing complex technical challenges and architecting resilient, large-scale cloud systems.

Key Objectives
  • Design, develop, and implement complex Kubernetes solutions, including custom operators, to automate and orchestrate critical applications and services.
  • Design the architecture of the cloud-native infrastructure, such as Compute, Networking, Storage and manage application infrastructure across multiple cloud providers (AWS, Azure) using Terraform and Helm charts.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams on Kubernetes best practices, cloud architecture, and infrastructure automation.
  • Optimize and troubleshoot Kubernetes deployments for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Drive innovation and contribute to the evolution of our cloud-native platform.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent
  • 7+ years of experience in software engineering
  • Deep expertise in Kubernetes architecture, development, and operations, including custom operators development in Go.
  • Extensive experience with major cloud service providers (AWS, Azure) and their Kubernetes offerings (EKS, AKS).
  • Mastery of infrastructure-as-code tools, specifically Terraform and Helm charts, for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and storage in cloud environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
  • Professional proficiency in English language.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with other cloud providers (., GCP).
  • Contributions to open-source Kubernetes projects.
  • Experience with CI / CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of service mesh technologies (., Istio).
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
