A leading energy company in Madrid is seeking a Senior Salesforce Engineer to lead Salesforce solutions and drive digital transformation in the energy sector. You will be responsible for full project delivery, hands-on development, and maintaining the Salesforce platform. Ideal candidates have a degree in Computer Science and at least 5 years of experience with Salesforce technologies and strong project management skills. Join Axpo and help shape the future of energy through innovative Salesforce solutions. As a Senior Salesforce Engineer youll lead technical delivery define product strategies and drive digital transformation in the energy sector.

What you will do

• Lead and execute Salesforce implementation projects end-to-end ensuring timely delivery operational stability and high-quality outcomes.
• Own the hands‑on development, configuration, integration and maintenance of Salesforce solutions taking responsibility for both Dev and Ops (DevOps) activities.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations including monitoring incident resolution user support and continuous improvement of the Salesforce platform.
• Establish and maintain robust CI / CD pipelines version control and release management processes to ensure efficient deployments and minimal downtime.

What you bring & who you are

• University degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5 years of experience as a Tech Lead or similar senior technical role.
• Hands‑on expertise with Salesforce technologies (Apex Visualforce Aura / Lightning Web Components SOQL / SOSL).
• Strong project management skills including experience with Agile methodologies.
• Proven experience with API development and integration management (e.g. SAP MDM).
• Salesforce certifications (e.g. Platform Developer Architect Consultant) are highly desirable.
• Fluent in English; German or Spanish is a plus.
• Strategic thinker with strong decision‑making skills and a commitment to quality assurance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative and customer‑focused mindset.
