About the Role:
As a Senior Linux System Administrator in our Managed Service Platform Operations (MSPO) team, you will manage, automate, and optimize our server platforms (bare metal and virtualised), ensuring high‑quality service delivery for cloud and hosting services. You’ll work hands‑on, troubleshoot complex issues, and continuously improve our platforms through automation and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure smooth daily operations of managed service platforms.
• Administer Linux servers globally.
• On‑call support as a 3rd‑level agent for customer tickets (max one week per month).
• Automate recurring tasks using Bash, Perl, Python, and Ansible.
• Troubleshoot Linux systems, Apache servers, and MySQL databases.
• Collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and customers.
• Maintain documentation and follow best practices.

Requirements:

• Advanced Linux system administration skills.
• Experience in Bash, Perl, or Python scripting.
• Troubleshooting experience with Linux, Apache, and MySQL.
• Experience with Ansible automation.
• Familiarity with ticketing and collaboration tools (OTRS, Jira, Confluence).
• Strong problem‑solving skills, proactive mindset, attention to detail.
