We’re looking for a Senior Data Analyst (Online Marketing) to join our Performance Marketing team in Barcelona at eDreams ODIGEO.

What you will do
The role’s key responsibilities are to shape our marketing strategy through data‑driven insights, driving customer growth, optimizing marketing spend, and maximizing ROI.
Working alongside data science, data engineering, marketing, and product teams, you will transform raw data into powerful strategies. If you thrive on solving complex problems and crafting data‑driven stories that influence key decisions, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.
Responsibilities
Identifying Growth Opportunities and Actionable Insights
- Collaborate with stakeholders across marketing, product, and data teams to deeply understand business objectives.
- Uncover opportunities for scale and inefficiencies in marketing spend, transforming findings into actionable strategies.
- Support marketing strategy through data‑driven insights on targeting, creative performance, and campaign objectives.
Performance Monitoring & Optimization
- Develop and maintain real‑time dashboards tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Own the performance monitoring of marketing campaigns across various channels.
- Identify opportunities and anomalies early, proactively raising insights to drive optimizations.
- Recommend course corrections and strategic shifts to maximize customer acquisition and ROI.
- Translate data into compelling narratives that influence senior leadership and marketing decisions.
Experimentation & Advanced Testing
- Lead the test‑and‑learn agenda, collecting stakeholder input and identifying high‑impact hypotheses to test.
- Design a structured testing roadmap, ensuring hypotheses align with strategic marketing objectives.
- Guide marketing teams on proper campaign setup, budget allocation, and execution of A/B and multivariate tests.
- Analyze results, extract clear learnings, and apply them to optimize future campaigns and strategy.
Budget Setting & Optimization
- Define optimal budget allocation across campaigns, segments, and durations, ensuring alignment with payback targets.
- Continuously monitor campaign performance, providing insights to adjust spend and maximize efficiency.
Target Setting & Forecasting
- Assist in developing business cases, forecasting potential conversions and revenue based on investment scenarios.
- Establish performance benchmarks and targets (e.g., CPA, ROAS, frequency caps) to steer marketing execution.
- Forecast expected conversion and revenue volumes based on the media plan, flagging when adjustments are needed.
- Provide real‑time reporting, tracking performance against set targets and forecasts.
Data Enablement & Data Quality Monitoring
- Collaborate with data engineers to build a robust data ecosystem tailored to marketing reporting needs.
- Define and implement automated data quality checks to ensure data integrity and reliability.
- Act as the first line of support in resolving data discrepancies, collaborating with engineers to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
- Ensure data integrity in reporting and analysis at all times.

What You Need to Succeed
Must‑haves
- Strong analytical expertise – ability to turn complex datasets into actionable insights.
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics or data engineering.
- Technical proficiency – advanced SQL and some experience with Python, R, or similar.
- Data visualization mastery – proficiency in Superset, Looker, or similar tools.
- Exceptional communication skills – ability to tell a clear, compelling data‑driven story to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Problem‑solving mindset – ability to connect dots, think strategically, and challenge the status quo.
Desirable
- Advanced degree – master’s in statistics, mathematics, engineering, physics, or related field.
- Cloud & big‑data experience – Google BigQuery, AWS Redshift, or Snowflake.
- Experience in online travel or e‑commerce – understanding of travel marketing and industry dynamics.
- Project management – leading complex analytical projects with cross‑functional teams.
