A global specialty chemicals company is seeking a Key Account Manager to manage relationships focused on adhesive solutions for the automotive industry. This remote position requires travel to customer sites in Spain and Portugal, alongside managing business growth and providing technical support. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years' experience in a related role, with fluent Spanish and English. Competitive compensation package offered.

In this strategic role, you will manage and grow relationships focused on our adhesive solutions for Body in White and Assembly Line applications. The position is remote, offering flexibility while requiring frequent customer interaction. Securing and expanding business relationships with the aim of sales and earnings growth
Supporting the purchasing and development departments as well as the contacts to the customer's decision makers
Sales and profit responsibility for his customer and product area
Preparation and execution of contract negotiations in accordance with MOA
Analyzing customer needs and defining the strategy for projects in collaboration with SD and VP
Handling day-to-day business in the customer plants; technical support for the customer
Carrying out budget and business planning for his customer or product area
Setting quality objectives and related training
Supporting the responsible internal department with customer complaints and communication with the customer
Minimum 5 years of experience in a Key Account Manager, Key Account Engineer, Business Development or Technical Sales role within the automotive industry or an OEM.
Familiarity with Body in White (BIW) and / or Assembly Line products, including technical understanding and production-related processes.
Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites in Spain (Barcelona, Pamplona) and Portugal (Lisbon), including on-site presence when operational support or issue resolution is required.
Fluency in Spanish and English
Professional and well-organized work style, with strong self-management, structured thinking, and excellent social skills.
Good command of standard business software, including MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
In-depth knowledge of BIW and Assembly Line products and customer applications.
