A leading inspection and certification company in Madrid is seeking a LIMS Implementation Specialist to support the deployment of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). The successful candidate will have a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Chemical Engineering, alongside 2 to 5 years of relevant laboratory experience. Responsibilities include standardizing LIMS setups, coaching users, and managing project implementation. Fluency in English is required, with other languages considered a plus. Formación

  • 2 to 5 years of laboratory experience in a LIMS solution.
  • Proven experience of supporting deployment and implementation.

Job Description

Working as a core member of our Digital Labs project team, you will support the implementation of our new Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) solution. You will ensure that all implementations follow our corporate Rollout strategy and assist our regional and local lab deployment teams with implementation activity.

More specifically, you will :
  • Drive and maintain the standardization of LIMS global setup;
  • Define and maintain governance on global system configuration such as core tests, regulation limits, pricing (and all related group), QC Masks and all linked reference data;
  • Participate in process gap analysis activities for new labs;
  • Represent LIMS Rollout stream on meeting and working groups;
  • Provide coaching and support to local LIMS super users and deployment team;
  • Collect, summarize and document additional business requirements if there is no acceptable solution within the available LIMS dynamicity;
  • Facilitate LIMS issues resolution within technical teams.
Qualifications
  • Educated to degree level in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Chemical Engineer
  • 2 to 5 years of laboratory experience in a LIMS Solutions.
  • Knowledge of LIMS (such as STARLIMS, CCLAS, LabVantage or other)
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in Project Management.
  • Proven experience of supporting the deployment and implementation of new IT solutions.
  • Fluent in English. Other languages are a plus.
