A leading financial institution is seeking an experienced trader to lead the QIS x-asset trading mandate in Madrid. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience trading a variety of asset classes and possess a strong mathematical background. Responsibilities include managing trading risks, collaborating with product development, and improving trading infrastructure. Fluency in English is essential for effective communication in this dynamic environment.

Descripción del empleo

• Lead the QIS x-asset trading mandate. Implementing and evolving the x-asset trading platform.
• Management of the risks of the QIS books across the different asset classes (rates, fx, equity derivatives, credit..).
• Implementing the workflow for the hedging of the QIS strategies with the different BBVA GM flow de desks.
• Participating in the implementation and evolving of the appropriate booking infrastructure of the x-asset QIS.
• Leading the improvement of the QIS Trading Platform and Risk Management tools.
• Collaborate with the Product Development specialist in the implementability and replicability of the QIS strategy.
• Coordinate with the flow specialist to ensure the appropriate cost structure of the QIS strategy.
• Actively participating in the pricing of QIS RFQs from institutional clients.

What are we looking for?

• Talented trader with more than 7 years experience in trading different asset classes (Equities, FX, Rates..) with deep knowledge of Market dynamics and trading books risks, with strong background in rates and volatility products.
• Strong mathematical background with deep knowledge of financial derivatives.
• Highly motivated professional able to work as team player in a fast growing business with goodmunication skills.
• Analytical profile able to understand the trading workflows.
• With initiative to permanently improve the trading setup and tools.
• Fluency in English is essential.
