Mission and Purpose

The primary role of the Manager is a commercial one, focused on managing and developing relationships with candidates for the Master in Management (MiM) program. This includes both existing candidates and new prospects. The Manager will also be responsible for promoting the MiM program through travel and organizing promotional events. Strong communication skills, including public speaking and presentations, are essential for building relationships with candidates and alumni.

Main Responsibilities:

The Manager has direct responsibility for meeting targets in the following areas:

  1. Student applications and enrollment numbers.
  2. Enhancing the school's presence and image.
  3. Completing specific departmental projects assigned by the Area Director.
  4. Establishing and maintaining contacts for promotional purposes.

To meet these targets, the duties include:

  1. Collaborating with the area director to develop a comprehensive plan.
  2. Defining and executing promotional events, including selecting event types, locations, and target audiences.
  3. Choosing channels for promotion, such as mailings and advertisements, and monitoring their effectiveness.
  4. Maintaining an events database to facilitate planning, including tracking costs, materials, and bookings.
  5. Utilizing internal and external databases effectively.
  6. Ensuring efficient admissions processes, including candidate correspondence and info interviews.
  7. Monitoring progress and managing the area in collaboration with Area Coordinators.
  8. Ensuring adherence to admission standards.
  9. Implementing mechanisms to improve candidate yield, such as personalized communications and attentive service.
  10. Coordinating media efforts, advertising, prospectuses, applications, and packages with relevant departments.
  11. Exploring and adopting new technologies to enhance results.
