Job summary :
The Human Resources Officer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the HR team. This role combines hands-on execution of HR transactional and administrative tasks with ownership of process accuracy, compliance, and high-quality employee service. The HR Officer works closely with the HR Manager to support operational excellence and continuous process improvement across the employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee general office operations to ensure a smooth, welcoming, and well-functioning environment for all employees and visitors.
- Ensure compliance with local tax, social security, and employment regulations.
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payment to all team members.
- Manage employee compensations and benefits
- Maintain accurate records and manage company IT equipment for remote and in-office employees, including distribution, retrieval, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Administer Google Workspace (G Suite) accounts: create and delete user accounts, manage access permissions, monitor storage usage, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Track, monitor, and audit office inventory, including supplies, furniture, and equipment; coordinate vendor orders and ensure proper stock levels.
- Assist with policy interpretation, and workplace issue resolution.
- Partner with benefits providers and leadership to optimize programs, communicate policy updates, and support employee engagement initiatives.
- Lead the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and positive employee experience.
- Plan and support internal events and team-building activities to promote a positive work culture.
Ideal Qualities and Experience
- The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, very detail oriented, highly professional, well organized, a passionate team player, good under pressure and fast on their feet.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in HR operations, HR administration, or a related role.
- Familiarity with payroll processes and compliance
- Experience with HRIS systems and HR software is a plus; proficiency in data management and reporting.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of Spanish employment law and HR compliance requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- High level of discretion in handling confidential information.
- Fluency in English and Spanish
