We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Head of Risk Model Development to join our Retail Credit Risk Team within ING Risk Domain.
The responsibility of the Retail Credit Risk team is to oversight the risk in the Spanish Retail Lending portfolio during the whole credit lifecycle and our way of working is 100% flexible in small subject-expert areas and with a continuous interaction with international teams.
Lead a team of 5-7 data analysts and model developers in charge of developing risk regulatory models. As a team leader you will lead the strategic direction development and governance of risk models across the retail portfolios of Mortgages and Consumer Lending ensuring that all modelling activities align with regulatory expectations internal governance standards and business objectives.
You will play a critical role in supervising the development of IRB and IFRS9 (EAD PD LGD) and Credit decision models driving innovation in modelling practices and representing the modelling function in senior leadership and regulatory forums. The role requires strong leadership technical expertise and the ability to translate complex modelling outcomes into actionable insights for decision‑makers.
Your ability to navigate senior stakeholder relations is critical as you will be the main point of contract for all modelling conversations with senior management regulators and internal stakeholders to communicate modelling strategy.
