An innovative tech startup is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join their team in building an AI-native orchestration suite for hiring. This role is equity-based, allowing for either part-time or full-time engagement and is fully remote. The ideal candidate will have proven experience with AI agent workflows, NestJS, Vue.js, TypeScript, and AWS, and will work on developing scalable SaaS features in an agile environment. This is a unique opportunity to shape the product and company at the ground floor.

About Us

Atlast is building the world’s first AI-native orchestration suite for hiring. Instead of juggling outdated applicant tracking systems and fragmented point solutions, recruiters simply use natural language commands and our modular AI agents handle everything from sourcing to scheduling, interview roleplays, offers, and candidate feedback.

We are gearing up for launch in Jan 2026. Backed by early supporters and with strong traction (signed letters of intent), we’re looking for a Founding Full Stack Engineer to join us at ground zero.

The Role

We are looking for a highly skilled full‑stack engineer to support us ideally full but this can also be part time. You’ll be joining an early‑stage team building a modern system from the ground up. This is a hands‑on role with strong potential for ongoing work.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI agent workflows (LLM‑based, text and voice‑enabled)
• Develop scalable SaaS features using NestJS (backend) and Vue.js (frontend)
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable TypeScript code across the stack
• Style responsive UI components using Tailwind CSS
• Integrate and manage third‑party APIs
• Implement automated testing (unit and end‑to‑end)
• Set up monitoring and alerting for production systems
• Deploy and manage infrastructure on AWS using Terraform (App Runner, PostgreSQL, Cognito, etc)
• Containerise services using Docker and manage CI/CD with GitHub Actions
• Collaborate in an agile, fast‑paced team environment

Required Skills

• Proven experience building AI agents or agent‑based workflows (LLMs, voice/text interaction)
• Building scalable systems
• Strong proficiency with NestJS, Vue.js, and TypeScript
• Experience with Tailwind CSS for UI development
• Solid knowledge of AWS (App Runner, RDS, S3, CloudFront)
• Infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Docker and GitHub Actions for CI/CD
• Experience with automated testing (unit and E2E)
• Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g. CloudWatch, etc.)
• Integration with external APIs
• Experience working in agile teams
• The ability to work relatively autonomously

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of multi‑tenant SaaS architectures

Compensation: This is an equity‑first founding role meaning that we’re offering up to 1.5% equity, depending on experience and contribution.

At this stage (pre‑seed, pre‑funding), the role is equity/shares‑only - either part‑time or full‑time. Once we close our fundraise, we’d be happy to switch to a cash + equity package.

This is a chance to join Atlast at the ground floor, shape the product and company, and build long‑term ownership.
