Formación

  • Around 5 years of experience in controlling, audit, or financial management roles.

Financial Controller – HQ Madrid

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the preparation and supervision of the annual budget, forecasts, and business plans.
  • Analyze the profitability and performance of infrastructure projects (CAPEX/OPEX, cash flow, variance analysis).
  • Implement and improve internal control systems and financial reporting procedures.
  • Oversee monthly and annual financial closing in coordination with the accounting team.
  • Prepare management reports and financial KPIs for the executive team and board of directors.
  • Monitor cash flow.
  • Ensure compliance with tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements, liaising with auditors and external advisors.
  • Drive cost optimization and process efficiency across financial operations and project execution.
  • Provide financial support in tenders, concessions, and infrastructure contracts.

About you
  • Education: Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or similar. Master’s in Finance or MBA is a plus.
  • Experience: Around 5 years in controlling, audit, or financial management roles, preferably in infrastructure, construction, energy, or concession sectors.
  • Accounting & Tax Knowledge: Solid knowledge of financial and management accounting principles and relevant tax matters.
  • Financial Analysis: Strong modelling and variance analysis skills; ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Risk Management & Financial Planning familiarity.
  • Knowledge: Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Navision, etc.).
  • Languages: Fluent English required (additional languages are an advantage).
